If your Plex home screen does not show the correct libraries, source, or layout, resetting your customizations can often fix the issue.
This is especially helpful if:
- your shared libraries are missing
- the wrong source is pinned on your home screen
- old libraries still appear after changes
- your Plex layout does not reflect your current access
Resetting customizations does not usually remove your account or server access. It simply restores the home screen and sidebar layout to Plex defaults so you can set them up again cleanly.

Resetting Plex customizations may help if:
- newly shared libraries are not visible

- the sidebar looks incorrect
- the home screen is showing the wrong content source

Before you begin
Make sure:
- you are signed in to the correct Plex account
- your server invite or library access has already been accepted
- you refresh Plex after accepting any new invite

After resetting, return to the home screen and re-pin or re-select the correct libraries if needed.
On Plex Web
- Open Plex in your browser.
